Newnan-Based Bravo Company Gets New Commander

A change of command took place December 4th for the Newnan-based Bravo Company of the 2nd Battalion, 121st Infantry of the Georgia National Guard's 48th Infantry Brigade.

The National Guard unit is based at Newnan's Jackson-Pless Armory, on Armory Road off LaGrange Street.

Outgoing Company Commander Capt. Michael Persley handed over duties to incoming Company Commander Capt. Nicholas Grady Jones.
Radiation Oncology

Capt. Jones is transferring to Bravo Company from Delta Company in Americus. Captain Persley is moving to Brigade Operations Headquarters in Macon.
