Dog that Saved Soldiers Lives Accidentally Euthanized

After several dogs helped thwart a suicide bomber who tried to blow up an American military camp in Afghanistan, people all over the nation and Great Britain worked to help bring those dogs to the United States to live with the soldiers' whose lives they helped save.

One dog, Rufus, is living happily with Sgt. Chris Duke and his family locally in Heard County.

Another dog, Target, was living happily in Arizona until her tragic death on Monday.
